The Big Ticket – Review and Gallery

On December 6th 2015, Metropolitan Park hosted Jacksonville’s 6th annual Big Ticket Fest.  Big names such as Twenty One Pilots and Of Monsters And Men headlined the show, playing to an entirely sold out venue.  Supporting act, Walk The Moon, gave an electric performance that included older songs such as “Jenny” and “Anna Sun”.  The four piece band from Ohio also played new songs including their smash hit “Shut Up And Dance”.

The audience went wild for Twenty One Pilots, the festival’s top headliner and last act of the night. The duo’s performance gave a glimpse into their full live show, where they engage the audience and  make them feel like they are part of the show.  They opened with fan favorite “HeavyDirtySoul” and made sure to include hits like “Stressed Out”, “Tear in My Heart” and even a cover of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love”.

A good time was had by all, and with 14 bands and 2 stages, there was plenty of music to go around.  Fan’s of the festival are already looking forward to next year.
